Would You Like to Become a Member of the Central Illinois Effingham Chapter?

The Central Illinois Effingham Chapter meets the third Saturday of each month at Legacy Harley-Davidson located at 1315 Althoff Ave., Effingham, IL. The meeting starts at 5:00 pm and usually concludes by 7:00 pm when we often go somewhere together to eat a meal.

We invite you to stop by and meet some of the Harley owners in this area.

	Group Riding Guidelines
Maintain a staggered formation except on narrow roads when single-file is signaled. Maintain 2-second gap behind bike ahead in same line. Maintain 1-second gap behind bike ahead in alternate line. Avoid leaving gaps in formation where other vehicles can penetrate the formation. Newer riders should team with experienced riders near middle of the group. Hand signals should be understood and used by all riders and passed back the line. Emergency stops should be signaled then pull-off to side of road onto the shoulder. A road-captain shall attend to stopped bike as all others continue on designated route. Be well rested, have bike in proper working condition with full tank of fuel. Be prepared for inclement weather and carry proper protective gear. Riders should always separate consumption of alcoholic beverages from riding. Any questions or concerns, please ask your road captain.
